I would suggest that you connect the 6th unit or more to a seperate USB port within your default system instead. MediaTRACKER will still be able to detect even though it is from another USB port. If you have limited USB port, a USB hub might just do the trick. As for the power adapter you had requested, I would suggest that you drop us a ticket at our "Request for Support". We will be able to have some arrangement to send you the require adapter.
Thank you. Also the first part of my questions, " Will Centurions work with my existing stack of Centuries? Will my existing Media Tracker Software work? "
Yes, there will be no problem for your MediaTRACKER to detect the present of the existing stack of Centurion CD and the newly intro Centurion CD unit/s. It will be acknowledge as one within the same MediaTRACKER Library database.
Did you mean to say that there would be compatibility between my existing Century CD units with new Centurion CD units; and that MediaTRACKER will work for both?
What improvements if any does the Centurion have over the Century?
There are no compatibility between the two types of organizer so long MediaTRACKER is able to detect and operate it. As you may know, MediaTRACKER only support the older Century CD running on Firmware 04 and/or above. This can be verify by looking at the serial number that read; 0X-000XXXXX, where the first two digits represent the Firmware version instead.
Our Centurion CD operates much smoother and quieter, which in turns also reduce the overall power consumption. We have always committed to further improve whenever possible and technology permits.
