I put a DVD in my Centurion CD, after adding it to my library, but the Media Check-In window did not pop up.
I tried getting it out by clicking "Remove fron library" (which I now know is a stupid thing to do) and now I can't get it out, and my Centurion CD doesnt even know the DVD is even there.
I have clicked "Eject empty slots" but it starts working for a couple of seconds, then just freezes.
Please help.
Please see my posting under Centurion DiscHub. It shows you how to remove a jammed CD/DVD.
Hello Colin,
Greetings from Digistore Solutions.
There are chance that the sensors located at the mailslot isn't ready during the insertion of the disc into the carousel. Therefore, it is advisable that you insert the disc into the mailslot after when the ejecting hammer strike. What you are doing is correct - perform the "Eject Empty Slots". This should remove any undetected disc/s that was inserted undetected. From your description, the process freezes which may be due to drop of the USB signal. Should you encounter this, try go under the View - Connected Organizers..., check if the serial number of the said organizer unit showed up. If it doesn't, you may wish to check the USB cable and/or change a USB port.
If you are still experiencing the above mention, kindly open a ticket at our "Request for Support". Our engineers will be able to assist you further.
Best regards,
Ivan
Where is the Eject Empty Slots function located? Is it in the media software under a menu because I cannot find it in any menu or help location.
Hello bjlasota,
Greetings from Digistore Solutions.
